I’m thrilled to announce the first session of my groundbreaking REACH workshop for actors, just in time for the Spring Audition Season! Get your mind and soul in gear so you can tackle audition season feeling Resilient, Empowered, And Confidently Humble. Let’s rock it!

Most of the professional performers I meet don’t have a problem with their talent level. They have a problem with their confidence level – with their ability to be mentally, emotionally, and spiritually resilient while pursuing their dreams.

Imagine being at your next EPA or chorus call, appointment or agent meeting. Imagine that you know exactly what to do in order to feel confident, at ease, and even excited about this experience. Imagine knowing that whatever happens in that room, you’ll know how to take care of yourself so that you can feel empowered and ready for the next day. Imagine knowing that you can have a long, happy, prosperous life in as a professional performing artist, no matter what the biz throws your way!

The good news is that resilience, empowerment, and confidence is a skill set, just like anything else, and that you can learn how to be mentally and emotionally healthy while you go after your creative career with all your heart and soul.

The REACH Workshop teaches this skill set while building community and support among colleagues. In this five-week class we’ll cover everything from mindset to setback recovery, and you’ll learn a set of practical (and slightly magical) tools and practices to help you manage your mindset every day no matter what challenges you come up against!

Want to know when the next REACH workshop will be held? Sign up here to get updates – I’ll send you the ACTOR’S MINDSET MAKEOVER as a gift – my FREE 11-day e-course to get you ready for audition season!

Session 1: Let’s start with the mind. How’s your showbiz mindset? How to recognize signs of an unhealthy mindset, and how to shift into a healthy mindset. Yes, you can change the way you think about the biz and your success!

Session 2: Tell Your Story! How we think and feel about past experiences can affect our present and future, so you’ll learn ways to shift your perspective and reframe stories so that they support rather than deplete you. You’d be surprised at some of the things you consider “truth” that are actually just a story that can be viewed differently. Learn to harness the power of telling your story the way you want to tell it!

Session 3: Internal prep for the working actor. What practices and rituals do you have in place to prepare you for auditions, callbacks, meetings with representation, rehearsals and performances? You’ll learn self-care rituals that you can put into place immediately. We’ll also discuss how to shift your expectations and your definition of success from an outcome-oriented to a process-oriented one.

Session 4: Recovering from “setbacks”. You’ll learn a set of tools and practices to help you recover when things don’t go the way you wanted them to. It happens to all of us! You can bounce back quickly and prevent setbacks from “haunting” you in future situations. As a teacher of mine says, “The good news is, reality is malleable.” What if we acted as if that were true? What might be available? Are you willing to try on being in charge of your reality?

Session 5: In our final class together we’ll integrate all of the material, share our successes during the class, and discuss daily practices as well as next steps to help you continue strengthening your showbiz mindset. We’ll close with a special ceremony and – yeah, a little bit of a party!
